WHO WE ARE

The Conference Office exists to serve the local church! The purpose of the West Plains Conference Office is about: 

  • Connection Point. The Conference Office is a resource for the local church providing encouragement, communication, networking, resourcing, and training. 

  • Leadership Development. The Conference Office focus is to develop lay and clergy leadership throughout the conference. 

  • Appointments. The Conference Office is tasked with making appointments to the Conference churches.

  • Church Health. The Conference Office is committed to helping churches stay healthy or get healthy. 

  • Church Planting. The Conference Office will equip local churches to be in the business of planting new faith communities. 

  • Mission Partnership. The Conference Office will foster relationships with our two mission partner conferences, Thailand - GMC and the Western States, for mutual connection and Kingdom advancement.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The good news is God so loved the people of our world that He sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins so that we might receive forgiveness and walk daily in abundant life. How do we know this? The West Plains Conference of the Global Methodist Church stands on the Bible as the inspired Word of God. It shapes everything we believe about God, current cultural issues, and the questions people are asking.
