West Plains Conference of the Global Methodist Church and MinistrySafe are proud to work together to protect children and those who serve them!
Attorney and MinistrySafe founder Gregory Love provided a one hour webinar for the West Plains Conference to discuss the common challenges and introduce the MinistrySafe Five-Part Safety System, created to help the Church and Christian ministries protect children. This webinar described what all churches should have in place to address the risk of abuse: Sexual Abuse Awareness Training, Skillful Screening, Policies & Procedures, Background Checks, Monitoring & Oversight.

West Plains Conference Appointment Process
There is an exciting new appointment process in the West Plains Conference that is very different from what we have experienced in the past. Both local churches and pastors now have much more input in the process, but there has been some confusion as to exactly how this works. We encourage you to click on the following link to see the step-by-step journey of how a church receives a new pastor. If you have questions, feel free to contact your presiding elder.
Candidates to Ordained Ministry
Are you discerning a call to ministry or helping someone answer the call? We have some resources provided by the Board of Ministry to help candidates, local churches, and pastors as they walk through this journey.
If you are a candidate, you will need to fill out the Personal Data Sheet. If you are a local church or pastor walking through the candidacy process with a person of your church, you will need to download the Interview Sheet to use for the interview portion of the candidacy process.
GMC Resources
This digital resource guide will give your churches the opportunity to embrace the mission and vision of the Global Methodist Church and connect with other Global Methodist local churches all around the world.
