School of Ministry

The School of Ministry offers a low-impact educational experience that primarily focuses on ministry development, spiritual formation, and an introductory exploration of the calling of God in a person’s life, either as laity or as clergy.

School of Ministry Retreat Spring 2026

Mark your calendar for our Spring School of Ministry Retreat, February 26-March 1, 2026 at Sacramento Camp. There will be a limited number of spots, so for those who cannot attend there will be another retreat held in the Fall of 2026. The cost for the retreat is $50. If you would like a single room, it will be an additional $60.

After you register, you will receive information from Rev. Doug Hensley giving you detailed information on books for the retreat and answer any questions.

Sacraments Class

Bishop Scott Jones taught our Sacraments class in May 2025. If you need access to the recording at Aldersgate Church in Lubbock, TX on May 17th from 10am-5pm for a class on sacraments. Both in-person and online options are available. The cost for the class is $20.
