A one-page introduction of yourself, your family, and your spiritual journey

Submit the above documents to your Presiding Elder to be considered for a church in the appointment process.

Recommended Educational Institutions

The Global Methodist Church ordination process includes educational requirements that can be achieved in one of two ways: a seminary degree or a non-degree track made up of 20 specific courses (see paragraph 407 in the Transitional Book of Doctrines & Discipline). Each of the schools listed below are recommended by the GMC and offer both of these tracks.

Candidates to Ordained Ministry

Are you discerning a call to ministry or helping someone answer the call? We have some resources provided by the Board of Ministry to help candidates, local churches, and pastors as they walk through this journey.

If you are a candidate, you will need to fill out the Personal Data Sheet. If you are a local church or pastor walking through the candidacy process with a person of your church, you will need to download the Interview Sheet to use for the interview portion of the candidacy process.
